Every year Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din is celebrated on 27th February.This day is celebrated in the memory of the great marathi poet,author & social reformer “VishnuVaman Shirwadkar”-popularly known as “Kavi Kusumagraj.
On 28th Feb 2025 Marathi Day was celebrated in Adarsh Primary English Medium School with great joy & energy.The cultural committee & the principal of Adarsh Primary English Medium School gave in all their efforts & hardwork to make the day remarkable.The students of std I to IV performed dance acts & also recited famous poems like “Sansar” by Bahinabai Chaudhari, “Shahanpan” by Kusumagraj,Bharud by Sant Eknath.The tiny tots of std I & II performed on Balgeet like Kilbil Kilbil Pakshi bolti,Aggobai Dhaggobai, Chocolate cha bangla & others.Students from Std III & IV performed dance acts of various forms like Gavlan,Vaari,Gondhal,Mangla gaur & others.Parent representatives were invited for the event.They also enjoyed a lot.The students were really excited for all the performances.Mrs.Vaishali Shete did good anchoring which included famous marathi thoughts & proverbs.
