The Senior Kindergarten students performed a play based on the tale of Naag Kalia and Krishna. One day, while Krishna and his companions were enjoying themselves along the banks of the Yamuna River, they heard distressing cries. They hurried to the source of the commotion and found that a child had accidentally fallen into the river. The local residents were filled with fear, as they were aware that the fearsome serpent Kaliya resided in those waters, and any being that encountered his lethal venom would meet a grim fate.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Krishna leaped into the river. Kaliya lunged at him, but Krishna was too swift. Eventually, he seized Kaliya by the tail and climbed onto one of his heads. As he played his flute, he bore the weight of the entire universe upon his small feet. Kaliya was on the verge of being overwhelmed by this immense weight when his wives appeared, pleading for mercy. Krishna consented to spare them, provided they agreed to leave Vrindavan permanently and never return. They complied with his request and departed from Vrindavan.
The enthusiastic participation of teachers will be recognized as a key factor in the successful execution of this event.
