Highlights of the event of this Academic year
Bal Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Adarsh Primary English Medium School, conducts various activities and the competitions for the overall development of the students. The education means to bring out the best in the students by providing them a proper platform and teachers being their facilitator. The school has taken efforts for the students to maintain the proper mental health of the students in the pandemic situation as well by keeping them busy in online competitions and activities. The students were very happy to showcase their talent by sharing not only with their friends but also with the parents.

1. Activities :-

Festivals are Celebrated which features all religion to be united & that is an unique in my school.

  • Ashadhi Ekadashi -
    Maharashtra is land of saints who have preached the values of humanity, equality and devotion to the God. Sant Dnyaneshwar, Tukaram, Eknath have remarkable influence of the work done by them on the society till today. In order to make students aware about the work of these saints, the information about Ashadhi Ekadashi was given virtually.
  • Guru Pornima Celebration -
    Guru Pormima is the ancient tradition of India dedicated to the gurus who have shared wisdom to enlightened us. For the children the parents are the first guru, playing a major role by nurturing them physically and mentally. Keeping this in mind students of the school prepared a card for their parents to express their sense of gratitude and thankfulness towards them.
  • Lokmanya Tilak Death Anniversary Activity -
    Bal Gangadhar Tilak was a social reformer, Indian nationalist, and freedom fighter. He was an ardent follower of Swaraj and died on 1 August, 1920.He helped in laying the foundation for India's independence by building his own rule against Britishers and converted it into a national movement. To remember his great work students dressed up like Lokmanya Tilak and gave speech about the great freedom fighter.

2. Competition :-

My School has groomed me to take part in competitions to achieve awards.

  • Drawing Competition -
    The Drawing competition was conducted for the students of std 1 to 4 with the topics given as per their age group. The drawing is an art of self-expression. It provides them a creative exercise to support their creativity and the innovation. Students sent their creative drawings on the whatsapp group.
  • Handwriting Competition -
    The school plays a major role in developing the child for its future .Cultural values, practices and the ways of learning in the home as well as in the school shape the child and prepare it to be person with values and love for heritage. It is very important to have a good handwriting since it engages the students to develop the motor skills , activates the brain to read fluently. It helps to improve the memory ,gives new ideas rather than typing. Keeping all these points in mind handwriting competition was organized for the students of Std 1to 4 online.
